Tacoma is a city on the banks of Puget Sound, south of Seattle. It’s known as the birthplace of world-renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly. You can visit the nearby glass museum which has many of his works on display. There is also the Tacoma Art Museum and the Washington State History Museum where you can explore exhibits with a strong Northwest regional focus.

The LeMay America’s Car Museum showcases vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles across a vast space. The Fort Nisqually Living History Museum is a re-created 1800s trading post in Point Defiance Park. The park also features the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.

Urbanites are drawn to downtown with its competitively priced living spaces with sweeping mountain, city and water views, while families gravitate toward Tacoma’s charming neighborhoods with big city amenities. Only 20 minutes away from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, it easily accessible from other neighboring cities.
